From Barely Surviving to Thriving: Grace’s Journey of Hope

Grace, a widow in Kayunga, could barely feed her three children. "We ate once a day," she whispers. "School? A forgotten dream."
Then KOBAGA’s SAFE Project changed everything. Joining a savings group, Grace saved a good amount of money. Within a year, she bought sewing tools and started a tailoring business. Her first income paid for her daughter’s school uniform.
Meanwhile, our Health Camp treated her son’s malaria for free – "a miracle when clinics are miles away." Today, Grace mentors other mothers in her savings group while her children thrive in school.
"KOBAGA didn’t give handouts," she says. "They gave me tools to rewrite our story."
